The new digital SAT is here, and many colleges and universities still want applicants to have good SAT scores. All 4 sections (2 math, 2 reading/writing) are computer-adaptive, which makes it that much harder to reach that high score ceiling of 1600. For Natalie’s dSAT tutoring, she helps students use the knowledge they already have to beat the test and score high! Some increased their SAT scores by 100 points after just 5 lessons, while others studied for over 6 months and got 1490 on their first SAT test. She uses official practice materials and other trusted resources during lessons.

SAT Math
Natalie has tutored so many high school students for the SAT math sections. The new digital SAT Math is computer-adaptive, Desmos calculator-friendly — and just as rigorous, with more concepts and the pressure to reach that high score ceiling. Students work with her through practice sets and practice tests so they can learn how to dissect problems in a quick, practical way and find the right answers. Their time management and test-taking skills improve through regular test prep as they navigate both sections. She then drills students through practice material so they are prepared for the test format and can aim for that perfect score of 800.

SAT Reading and Writing
With Natalie’s help, students have conquered the SAT Reading and SAT Writing/Language sections since 2015. In the combined, computer-adaptive digital SAT Reading and Writing section, students must tackle reading comprehension, grammar rules, and writing skills simultaneously. She helps them dissect the paragraphs given to quickly and efficiently answer the questions using good strategies and time-saving techniques. They go through practice tests and practice questions so they are fully prepared for testing day.
Tutoring includes:
Study plan based on previous SAT score results or initial practice test scores
Complete review of SAT concepts and strategies with targeted practice
Recommended resources for SAT Math + SAT Reading and Writing
Weekly feedback on student progress and homework completion (available for both sections)
FAQ about Natalie’s test prep
Do you offer a full test prep program or classes?
No, I do not offer programs or classes. My lessons are one-on-one and adapt to the needs of every student, based on where they are at in their test prep and how much support they need.
What does a typical lesson with you look like?
I help my students not only get to the right answer, but also understand how they got to the right answer and what makes it correct. They also learn how to methodically approach questions and answers. By understanding how a test works and how the testmakers have created the questions, students can better learn how to take that test with minimal stress and maximum success.
Can you guarantee a score increase on the actual test?
No, as a tutor, I cannot make any guarantees when it comes to scores and reaching score goals. Students must be fully committed to their study plans, daily practice goals, and using the strategies they learn for them to make significant progress in their test prep.
How many lessons will my child need?
I cannot provide an estimate for the total number of lessons without more information or meeting the student. Some students need more support, while others need less. Ideally, test preparation should start as early as possible before a test date, at least 2-3 months. To start, I always ask for practice test results or previous test results to help me see where we need to focus the most. I also ask about what test prep, if any, a student has done so far and what their specific test score goals are.
Parent and Student Reviews
“My daughter wanted help in math for Precalculus for school and to boost her SAT score. Natalie thoroughly reviewed my daughter’s math quizzes and tests and helped her prepare for her final exam. My daughter scored the highest she’s ever scored on a final exam; she was so happy. As for the SAT prep, Natalie’s strategy was perfect. My daughter’s score was boosted dramatically, almost 100 points in the Reading/Writing section alone.”
— Susan, SAT prep (all sections)
“My son has been working with Natalie on SAT practice tests, mainly on the English portion of the SAT. Her style of teaching is to help him think through the problems and the ways to tackle them. So at the end of the day, my son is learning the tools to solve a problem/answer a question correctly. When he is doing the tests himself, Natalie’s approach is stuck with him. Overall, his time in Natalie’s class has been well spent. I am also glad to see that with all these remote learning at his school, he is able to get one-on-one attention every week to truly learn something and get him prepared for SAT.”
